Meet Christina
In addition to my clinical training in psychotherapy, I am also a formally trained fine artist. In both of these areas of expertise, my focus has been on the integration of mind and body integration. It's through this lens that I bring a creative, intuitive approach to my client work, grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with lived practice. I therefore strive to “practice what I preach”-- intentionally applying the same principles I share in session to my own life—one of the many reasons I find this work deeply rewarding.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a vast range of professional roles: from work in the arts to serving as Managing Director of Administration at an investment firm in San Francisco. These diverse experiences, alongside my own journey through therapy, provide me with a well-rounded perspective on the human experience.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Expressive Arts, from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have also completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 (Practicum) training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
